Ofani Eremae was elected President of the Media Association of Solomon Islands (MASI) on Saturday, 14 September 2024, and has held the position since. With a strong background in journalism, Ofani has worked across various local media outlets. His notable roles include serving as Editor for both the Solomon Star and Island Sun newspapers. He is also the co-founder and editor of In-depth Solomons, the country’s first dedicated investigative journalism outlet.
