The Media Association of the Solomon Islands (MASI) is thrilled to announce that four talented Solomon Islands media professionals have been awarded the Manaaki New Zealand Vocational Short-Term Training Scholarship.
Elton Lonaratha Jnr (IThe Island Sun News), Morris Nafu ( The Island Sun News), and Lachlan Eddie (SIBC News) are headed to the Waikato Institute of Technology to undertake Diplomas in Journalism.
Bradford Noda (Tavuli News – Solomon Islands) will be heading to the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology to pursue a Diploma in Animation.
The recipients will be departing in the coming weeks for a 10-month period of study.
This life-changing opportunity is made possible through the powerful partnership between MASI and the New Zealand Government.
